The role
A senior commercial property solicitor with extensive experience is sought to provide specialised legal advice within an in-house legal team handling a diverse property portfolio. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various property agreements, managing property acquisitions from instruction to completion, and conducting due diligence. The successful candidate will advise on landlord and tenant issues, support property disposals and refinancing, and identify legal risks to provide practical solutions. They must liaise with tenants, landlords, and professionals to ensure compliance with legislation and maintain accurate legal records. Knowledge of legislative developments impacting property is essential. Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical skills, and the ability to manage a varied caseload independently are required.
