The role
The role involves leading the delivery and ongoing enhancement of essential digital services that support thousands of users across the organisation. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for supporting and improving corporate applications such as Oracle Cloud and Staff Directory. Responsibilities include managing application support, reviewing support costs, leading change initiatives, and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders. Candidates should have experience in managing Windows-based or Oracle Cloud applications, alongside a strong understanding of IT service management principles. They are expected to demonstrate analytical skills, risk management knowledge, and a commitment to continual service improvement. The role is based in Edinburgh and offers flexible working arrangements in line with hybrid working policies.
