The role
Review physician orders and existing therapies to ensure rational pharmacotherapy.
Provide drug information to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on dosing, interactions, and adverse drug reactions.
Assess pharmacokinetics and optimize therapy to ensure patient safety and efficacy.
Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and professional standards.
Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 45 wpm.
Requirements include Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD from ACPE-accredited program and New York pharmacist licensure with at least two years of experience.
