The role
A Senior Project Manager with expertise in EHV/HV substation construction and refurbishment is sought to oversee complex transmission projects across the UK. The role involves managing all phases of substation construction, refurbishment, and maintenance, including transformer and busbar replacement activities. The successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. They will also handle stakeholder communication, manage project budgets, and develop project programmes to meet milestones. A strong understanding of National Grid and DNO standards, along with experience managing live operational sites, is essential. The role offers an attractive daily rate, paid travel, and opportunities to lead major transmission projects.
