The role
Provide professional Ukrainian-English interpretation primarily in healthcare settings across Santa Clara County.
Independent contractor role with a flexible schedule and regular assignments based on language demand and qualifications.
Deliver accurate, complete, and clear interpretation with high fidelity to source content in medical, legal, and community settings.
Interpret orally in both directions (Ukrainian ↔ English) and adapt to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Support communication needs of medical professionals, patients, government agencies, community organizations, and internal stakeholders.
Meet job requirements including formal interpreter training or relevant experience and California licensure; obtain medical clearances and background checks as needed.
