The role
Lead and mentor a team responsible for the financial operations of the city's utility services.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in billing, collections, and all related financial transactions.
Develop and implement financial policies, budgeting processes, and internal controls to improve performance.
Monitor financial data, perform analyses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and present findings to leadership.
Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely reporting and regulatory compliance.
Oversee audits, maintain ethical financial practices, and support staff development and continuous improvement.
