The role
An artificial intelligence engineer at Pivotal in Manchester is responsible for building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines, assessing and onboarding new data sources, and organising Jarvis's knowledge structure. The role involves establishing governance policies, documenting processes, and fixing issues related to AI answer accuracy and data freshness. Candidates will collaborate with engineers and innovators to enhance Jarvis, Pivotal’s AI assistant, which supports mortgage advisers. They are expected to demonstrate skills in data engineering, API integration, and AI model work, preferably within financial services. Success in this position is measured by improved answer quality, expanded data coverage, and increased usage by advisers.
