Resident Doctor Critical Care

A nights-only Resident Doctor position specialising in Critical Care is available at The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham. The role involves monitoring and stabilising patients, including those requiring ventilatory support, mainly in HDU and occasionally in Level 3 ITU, following complex surgeries across various specialties. The doctor will perform advanced procedures such as central venous access and airway management, while maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. Support is provided during night shifts by a specialist nurse and an on-call consultant, with facilities for rest and recuperation on site. Candidates must hold full GMC registration, postgraduate qualification, and level 3 critical care experience.
