The role
Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive data governance strategy, translating high-level policies into scalable technical solutions.
Drive data ownership and accountability across engineering teams, defining clear data stewardship and accessible processes.
Design and build scalable pipelines and tooling to automate governance policies, including PII tagging, data classification, and lineage.
Provide clear guidance and establish paved paths for data quality and compliance, enabling teams to operate confidently.
Identify opportunities to optimize existing data for quality and compliance, while staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, collaborating with Legal, Engineering, and Data teams to advance data responsibility.
