The role
Provides direct nursing care in an ambulatory setting under supervision, following state regulations.
Administers medications, performs treatments, and monitors patient conditions.
Develops and revises individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Triages patients, assesses symptoms, and initiates appropriate actions or referrals.
Educates patients and families on health topics, medications, procedures, and goals of care.
Ensures infection control compliance and may train paraprofessional staff.
