The role
Manage all phases of workers' compensation litigation, from discovery through hearings, trials, and mediation.
Support senior trial and litigation counsel in case handling, including preparation and day-of-trial involvement.
Appear before the Workers' Compensation Board, conduct depositions, and draft pleadings, motions, summations, and appeals.
Provide clear legal opinions and strategic guidance to claims representatives and insured clients, building strong relationships.
Leverage e-discovery and case management technologies to streamline processes and coordinate with remote team members.
Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance, deliver timely updates, and contribute to organizational improvement.
