The role
A Mechanical Engineer specialised in asset integrity will assess and optimise the reliability of structural and mechanical assets through onsite data collection, analysis, and model creation. The candidate will work on projects to prevent failures caused by vibration, fatigue, and structural resonance, providing solutions based on sophisticated instrumentation and measurement techniques. Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, carrying out structural design and testing, and preparing technical reports. The role requires practical engineering experience, a broad understanding of mechanical systems, and proficiency in modern measurement tools. Collaboration and frequent travel, including offshore trips, are essential aspects of the position, demanding inquisitive and methodical candidates. The position is full-time with a salary approximately 50K, potentially reaching 60K with offshore uplifts and overtime.
