Social Work Operations Manager – Hamilton

An opportunity exists for a qualified Social Worker to become an Operations Manager within the Hamilton Adult & Older People Social Work team, overseeing assessment and care management responsibilities along with statutory work compliance. The successful applicant will manage front line staff, ensuring statutory legislation such as Adults with Incapacity and Adult Support and Protection are followed. This leadership role involves managing and delivering social care services while working collaboratively with other teams and managers in the locality. Strong decision-making and communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of Self Directed Support, assessment processes, and risk management. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience and be qualified as a Social Worker and Council Officer.
