The role
A senior network engineer is responsible for supporting critical infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving complex issues, managing change control, and leading project activities. The role involves maintaining technical documentation, managing vendor escalations, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates must have experience troubleshooting enterprise networks, with skills in network security, firewalls, VPNs, routing protocols, and troubleshooting tools like Wireshark. Technical expertise includes Cisco routers, firewalls, Nexus switches, and Palo Alto firewalls, among others. The position requires a valid driving licence due to travel demands and a proven track record in senior network roles. The engineer will participate in on-call support, ensuring 24/7 service coverage and continuous improvement of network services.
