The role
Perform general accounting functions in compliance with GAAP, state laws, and agency policies. Process accounts payable to vendors and resolve billing issues to ensure timely payments. Post and reconcile accounts receivable, process deposits, and manage youth program transactions such as canteen and time sheets. Handle inter- and intra-agency transfers and ensure accurate 3-way matching of vendor invoices. Verify and post Work Incentive Pay Program (WIPP) time sheets for youth employees and related payroll items. Support mail preparation, reporting, and other duties as assigned, while maintaining accuracy under deadlines.
