The role
A QA Pharmacist in Belfast is responsible for assessing microbiological environmental data for compliance, acting as a releasing officer, and participating in investigations related to pharmaceutical products. The role involves assisting in risk assessments of unlicensed medicinal products, developing analytical methods, and ensuring the quality and stability of finished products and raw materials. The pharmacist will evaluate microbiological and analytical tests conducted by RQPAS and assist in maintaining regulatory licenses and audits. They will also contribute to training and development of staff in QA procedures, while supporting clinical trials and GMP compliance. The position requires collaboration within a team, adherence to strict SOPs, and continuous service development. Candidates must hold an MPharm degree, be members of PSNI, and possess at least two years’ experience in a hospital, QA, or GMP environment.
