The role
An IT Infrastructure Support Specialist maintains and troubleshoots servers, networks, and storage systems across multiple sites. They provide second and third-line support for escalated technical issues and assist with infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and improvement projects. The position involves monitoring infrastructure performance, security, and availability, as well as performing patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation. Accurate technical documentation and support procedures are essential, along with supporting backup and disaster recovery processes. Collaboration with third-party vendors and supporting security standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives are key responsibilities.
