The role
The Senior Business Analyst at the University of Portsmouth is responsible for leading business analysis activities on large-scale digital transformation projects and programmes. The role involves gathering, validating and documenting requirements, as well as mapping complex business processes and informational flows to support change management and efficiency initiatives. The analyst will ensure that solutions meet quality standards through strategic analysis and continuous improvement practices. The position requires collaboration with technical and business experts and the management of process diagrams and schematic representations. A hybrid working model is offered, with a requirement to be onsite in Portsmouth part of the week, complemented by flexible working arrangements. This fixed-term contract runs until October 2027, with opportunities for professional development and participation in staff wellbeing and training programmes.
