The role
Provide electrical engineering support to a dynamic development team, decomposing test requirements and designing, integrating, and validating test stands for complex digital, analog, RF, and optical circuits.
Lead the design and verification of analog, power, digital, and RF circuits, complex interconnects, cables, and environmental controls for Environmental Stress Screening.
Collaborate with production and program teams to ensure reliable, efficient test stands and enable first unit test, design verification test, integration, and transition to production.
Apply agile hardware development practices, perform risk reduction prototyping, and follow MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461 standards; work with interfaces such as RS-485, Mil-Std-1553B, and Ethernet.
Provide hands-on lab support with instrumentation, prototype/test hardware, and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians; drive root-cause analysis and process improvements.
Requires a bachelor's degree with about seven years of relevant experience, experience with PSPICE, Cadence Allegro, schematic capture and PCB design, basic microwave technology, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
