The role
The Cybersecurity Analyst role focuses on protecting the organization's digital ecosystem by monitoring networks and systems for security threats and anomalies.
Responsibilities include continuous monitoring, incident investigation with root-cause analysis, and implementing response measures per established procedures.
Analyze security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security tools to identify potential threats and guide remediation.
Research emerging threats and technologies to enhance security posture and recommend proactive controls.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation, plus evaluate configurations and apply hardening practices.
Collaborate with end users, participate in incident response, and maintain compliance; a mandatory two-days-on-site expectation applies.
