The role
A Health, Safety & Compliance Officer ensures organisational adherence to UK legislation, industry standards, and certification requirements. The role involves conducting internal and external audits, managing compliance programmes, and implementing continuous improvement measures. Candidates should have experience in quality assurance, compliance management, and audit procedures within relevant sectors, with knowledge of BRC, ISO, and FSC standards. They will need strong analytical skills, organisational abilities, and effective communication skills to lead audits and liaise with authorities. Technical expertise in HACCP, ISO management systems, and NEBOSH certification is preferred to ensure high standards are maintained.
