The role
A Belfast-based investment bank is seeking a Senior Data Analyst specialised in Python, SQL, and trading data analysis. The role involves supporting regulatory compliance, enhancing data controls, and improving data quality for various asset classes including Rates, Equities, FX, and Commodities. Candidates should have extensive experience in financial data structures, controls, and analysis, along with skills in project management tools like JIRA and MS Project. The position requires excellent communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include developing data quality controls, conducting testing, and supporting strategic initiatives related to Price Risk data. Expertise in risk functions, especially credit and market risk, and certifications such as PMP or ISEB are advantageous.
