The role
The role involves coordinating inbound vehicle movements from ports to various locations, ensuring accurate system updates and effective communication with stakeholders. The candidate will monitor shipments, track assets, and verify operational details to support timely deliveries. They will serve as the main contact point between suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams, managing schedules, delays, and operational exceptions. Maintaining accurate logistics records and producing KPI reports forms a significant part of the duties, alongside resolving issues related to delays, damage, and discrepancies. Strong organisational, communication, and technical skills are essential, especially proficiency with logistics systems, Excel, and Outlook.
