The role
On-site management and analysis of DoD budgets at Aberdeen Proving Grounds using financial systems to track obligations, expenditures, and travel-related costs.
Support the development and execution of annual, multi-year, and expiring budgets in accordance with DoD policies.
Identify and resolve budget discrepancies, funding issues, and programmatic concerns.
Prepare and review financial reports; monitor data in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
Create and track financial documents such as MIPRs and PWDs; monitor appropriations, allocations, and forecasts.
Provide financial analysis during PMRs and data calls to support strategic budget planning; requires an active Secret Clearance.
