The role
Chicago-based junior- to mid-level intellectual property attorney focused on biotechnology patent prosecution.
Prosecute US and international patent applications, identifying patenting opportunities and competitive advantages with scientists.
Draft and file patent applications, respond to office actions, and manage life sciences IP portfolios for diverse clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on partnering and investment transactions to align patent strategy with business objectives.
Require an advanced degree in a life sciences field and a strong background in biotechnology patent prosecution.
Patent Bar membership is required.
