The role
A traineeship programme in Newport offers individuals the opportunity to start a career in IT support without prior experience. Participants will undertake online training courses from industry authorities like Microsoft and Cisco, complemented by practical experience using latest technology labs. The training includes sitting for internationally recognised certifications such as the CompTIA A+. Upon successful completion, participants are supported into entry-level roles within IT support, desktop support, and first-line support through numerous partnerships. The programme allows flexible learning tailored to each participant’s schedule, including full-time, part-time, or unemployment pathways. This initiative ensures a job after training, with a salary range from £25,000 to £35,000, with a refund guarantee if employment is not secured after programme completion.
