The role
Conduct research at the intersection of machine learning and biology/chemistry in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
Experiment with large datasets and novel techniques to push state-of-the-art ML methods.
Develop and evaluate generative models for biomolecular design and long-context modeling.
Explore mechanistic interpretability for protein folding models and NLP/agentic systems.
Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute to publications.
Requirements: current PhD student in CS, Computational Biology, or related field; strong Python (PyTorch/JAX) and ML research experience.
