The role
A Project Manager is responsible for managing IT projects end-to-end or leading specific workstreams within larger programmes, ensuring scope, time, and budget compliance for services up to £1.5 million. They oversee pre-sales activities such as scoping, estimating, and solution assurance, applying approved methodologies for project delivery and change management. Managing financial baselines, risks, issues, and dependencies is key to their role, alongside building strong stakeholder relationships. They are expected to have relevant project management certifications like Prince2 or Agile and proven experience in delivering IT projects across areas like cloud, data centres, and networking. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside the ability to influence in a fast-paced environment.
