The role
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering a range of engineering projects with discipline and repeatability, supported by knowledge of military and maritime engineering practices. The role involves engaging with customers and proactively developing business opportunities. The project management duties include planning, resource allocation, risk management, stakeholder communication, and reporting progress. Candidates must possess strong leadership, communication, and project control skills, along with understanding project management standards like MSP, PRINCE2, and APM. Technical knowledge of military, maritime standards and budget control systems such as SAGE is essential. The role requires the ability to manage teams, ensure resource adequacy, and align project objectives with strategic and customer expectations.
