The role
A role as a Finance Analyst in Bristol involves supporting manufacturing, assembly, and test businesses within defence sectors by providing financial analysis, management, and statutory reporting. The role requires preparation of monthly actuals, balance sheet management, inventory reporting, and budget/forecasting models. Candidates should have experience in finance roles within large organisations with strong ERP and Excel skills, ideally SAP. The position demands a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within team environments. Knowledge of financial systems, analytical skills, and a qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred. The analyst will also participate in process improvements and standardisation activities to enhance operational efficiency.
