The role
Provide support to senior counsel in regulatory inquiries, discovery management, subpoenas, and internal legal matters.
Liaise with Compliance and business teams to respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies such as DOJ, SEC, CFTC, FINRA, NFA, and exchanges.
Assess legal risks and advise managers and operational teams on legal matters; support HR and Compliance on internal investigations.
Review and negotiate vendor contracts; support litigation and regulatory matters; drive adoption of new legal technologies.
Distill complex legal issues into practical frameworks and reference guides for business partners; communicate clearly to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; adhere to risk management frameworks and conduct standards.
