The role
The Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) provides comprehensive breast surgery care in ambulatory settings as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team.
Conducts thorough histories and physicals, documents findings, and orders relevant diagnostic data.
Assesses risks in acute and chronically ill patients and participates in resuscitation and urgent interventions as needed.
Collaborates with the care team to develop differential diagnoses, interpret tests, and implement evidence-based care plans.
Documents progress with timely notes, discharge summaries, and clinic documentation, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Presents and mentors learners, engages in professional development and research, and supports continuity of care across settings.
