The role
Trust Payments seeks an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their Bournemouth-based Trust Retail team. The role involves developing retail, EPOS, inventory management, and customer engagement solutions, utilising industry-standard software development processes across front-end, back-end, and Android mobile platforms. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code, collaborating with internal teams and external clients to meet evolving business requirements. Responsibilities include leading development squads, implementing features, writing tests, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting, and participating in agile processes. The position requires expertise in Java microservice development, front-end technologies, and database management, with additional skills in AWS and communication protocols being advantageous. The role includes a regular on-call rota with associated allowances, requiring good judgement and technical acumen, aligned with compliance and security standards.
