The role
Lead open-ended investigations into HTTP request telemetry to uncover patterns, anomalies, and regressions.
Spin up reproducible analyses using Python, Jupyter notebooks, pandas, and numpy, and distill findings into concise, actionable notes.
Apply networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP semantics, TLS, CDN/proxy effects) to isolate client, network, and server causes.
Build small, robust CLIs/scripts to replay requests, generate test traffic, normalize logs, and compute lightweight metrics.
Implement pragmatic data-processing techniques for large logs (chunking, Parquet, streaming) to enable scalable analysis.
Deliver interactive visualizations and recommendations that developers and operators can use for triage and incident response.
