The role
Contributes to the success of new store projects by developing detailed construction estimates.
Validates bid costs with project leaders and identifies value engineering opportunities to reduce cost without compromising quality.
Develops order-of-magnitude budgets from schematic design and semi-detailed budgets from design development.
Maintains high accuracy across estimating projects and monitors budgeting progress and cost trends.
Collaborates with Design, Construction, and Planning and Analysis to enhance the historical cost database with CSI breakdowns.
Mentors estimators and communicates clearly with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality results.
