The role
A senior mechanical engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, execution, and delivery of multi-million-pound treatment systems, ensuring technical excellence from conceptualisation to field deployment. They mentor and develop engineering teams, ensuring adherence to governance standards in project documentation including P&IDs and electrical schematics. The role involves selecting high-performance equipment through hydraulic calculations and supporting procurement processes with technical data sheets and RFQs. Collaboration with project and sales teams is essential for to provide accurate cost estimates and technical reviews for proposals. Candidates must possess a BSc or BEng in a relevant discipline and have a proven track record within the water treatment or fluid process industries.
