The Senior Accountant in external reporting is responsible for preparing and reviewing quarterly external financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. The role involves managing the financial reporting processes, coordinating with departments, and supporting internal controls over financial reporting. Expected skills include a degree in accounting, CPA preferred, with at least three years of relevant experience, especially in financial statement preparation or auditing within a major firm. Proficiency in US GAAP, strong organisational skills, and advanced Excel capabilities are essential. The position requires working on-site at least four days a week at the Hingham office to support external audits and internal financial processes.
