Service Manager – Sheffield

Sheffield City Council is recruiting two Service Managers to oversee key functions within its Asset Management service, which manages around 38,000 homes. The role involves leading a core asset management function, including service delivery, performance, investment, and improvement in a complex environment. Candidates will manage multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with colleagues across housing and maintenance, and work with specialists and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-standard service delivery. They will also play a role in planning and delivering investment programmes that maximise value for money and tenant outcomes. The position requires strong leadership skills, experience managing performance and budgets at scale, and the ability to work across organisational boundaries in a fast-moving environment.
