The role
The Environmental Engineer is responsible for ensuring environmental compliance at a large, 100% recycled paper mill.
Develop and implement regulatory programs and prepare reports requiring data collection, calculations, and timely submissions.
Manage permits with local, state, and federal agencies; maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation.
Provide environmental training to hourly and salaried staff; support operations in reviewing environmental controls.
Assist with Title V, MACT, Greenhouse Gas, EPCRA, CERCLA, and SPCC programs as needed.
Support sustainability goals by contributing to carbon and water reduction targets and advancing recycling and reuse initiatives.
