The role
Represent clients in removal proceedings (detained and non-detained) and provide affirmative relief including asylum, withholding of removal, CAT, SIJS, DACA, and naturalization.
Manage applications for Adjustment of Status and other remedies for trafficking, domestic violence, and crimes, including bond hearings and motions to terminate.
Draft, file, and litigate complex petitions while maintaining thorough case management and documentation.
Contribute to legal advocacy by creating education materials and delivering know-your-rights and technical trainings to communities.
Support impact litigation aimed at reforming federal immigration laws and improving outcomes for Black immigrants.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating strong advocacy, research, and writing skills, and ability to work under pressure.
