The role
NHS Scotland is seeking a CAMHS Psychology Practitioner for its Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Aberdeen. The role involves working with children and young people across a range of clinical settings, employing various psychological modalities including CBT, systemic therapy, and play therapy. The post requires an undergraduate psychology degree and an MSc in Applied Psychology for Children and Young People, along with prior experience in CAMHS or working with youth. The job offers tailored supervision, a comprehensive CPD programme, and involvement in research and training activities within a multidisciplinary team. The service collaborates regionally and nationally and works closely with partner agencies to support mental health and wellbeing.
