The role
The Chief Compliance Officer leads the university-wide compliance program, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws and institutional policies.
Develops and maintains a risk-based compliance framework across academic, administrative, and research units.
Oversees investigations, confidential reporting, and timely remediation of non-compliance or misconduct.
Partners with stakeholders to assess risk, monitor regulatory changes, and deliver training for faculty, staff, and students.
Chairs or participates in compliance committees and liaises with external agencies and auditors.
Reports program effectiveness to senior leadership and the Board, fostering a culture of ethics and accountability.
