The role
Own and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes to drive gross margin, sales, and inventory turnover.
Negotiate costs, terms, and vendor support to maximize profitability and supplier leverage.
Source merchandise, define mix, timing, delivery, and promotions for assigned categories.
Develop and execute category merchandising strategies and collaborate with Marketing to capitalize on opportunities.
Forecast top-selling items, monitor market pricing, and ensure merchandising standards across channels.
Partner with Distribution, Transportation, Sales/Marketing, Operations, and Accounting to meet short- and long-term objectives.
