Senior Compliance Officer – Cardiff

A Senior Compliance Officer provides second line of defence advice and oversight on regulatory matters, ensuring first line compliance and effective risk management across products and services. The role involves building strong relationships with business teams, delivering compliance frameworks, and supporting the implementation of conduct and compliance policies, including Consumer Duty and SMCR. Candidates should have deep knowledge of relevant laws, excellent communication skills, and analytical capabilities to interpret business risks and compliance issues, and technical expertise in financial regulation. The position requires collaborative working, decision-making, problem-solving, and resilience to handle difficult conversations and proactively manage compliance risks.
