The role
As Data Science Manager (Applied AI), you will lead and grow a small team of Data Scientists focused on applied AI across product contexts.
You will manage multiple AI/ML initiatives, balancing rapid delivery with Applied AI best practices, standards, and cross-functional collaboration.
Translate business requirements into tangible AI deliverables, engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and contribute to hands-on delivery when needed.
Prioritize and shape Applied AI work across product innovation, maintenance, research, and foundational efforts, aligning with DataOps/MLOps needs.
Leverage NLP, topic modeling, recommendation, classification, and generative AI to improve models and impact product outcomes; drive deployment and maintenance with standardized processes.
Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence; attract, develop, and retain Applied AI talent; manage risks and partnerships with other functions.
