The role
Lead and mature the organization's cybersecurity program to meet DoD, DON, and NIST requirements.
Manage RMF lifecycle for assigned systems, maintain SSP and RMF artifacts, and oversee continuous monitoring.
Coordinate with the Authorizing Official, ISSOs, and system owners; manage IATO/ATO and IATT/ATT processes.
Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, oversee the security workforce qualifications (DoD 8140/8570), and lead incident response planning.
Validate configurations against STIGs and security baselines, oversee vulnerability scanning and patch remediation.
Deliver audits, readiness assessments, and robust documentation to sustain compliance across projects and corporate operations.
