The role
The role involves leading multiple engineering teams through a manager-of-managers structure, with responsibility for at least 35 people, specialising in high-growth, product-led SaaS environments. The candidate will develop leadership capabilities, improve engineering performance using frameworks such as DORA or SPACE, and partner with Product leadership to ensure alignment with commercial priorities. Responsibilities include coaching Engineering Managers, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and championing AI adoption within teams. The position requires organisational planning, supporting engineering transformation, and collaborating with senior technical leaders to align technology strategy with business objectives. The successful applicant will help shape organisational designs to support ongoing growth and technological evolution.
