The role
The Global Industrial Engineer leads supplier development efforts and manufacturing optimization for international ventures, focusing on process standardization and sustainable performance.
Evaluates supplier production environments, identifies gaps, and creates actionable improvement plans with clear milestones.
Drives Lean initiatives, conducts Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and implements standardized work and visual management.
Partners with supplier quality, engineering, and operations to reduce defects, improve first-pass yield, and monitor key KPIs.
Supports manufacturing readiness, tooling validation, ramp stabilization, and process control to ensure production-readiness.
Collaborates cross-functionally to align supplier capabilities with product requirements and reports progress to leadership.
