Highly Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist

Alder Hey’s Paediatric Physiotherapy team requires an experienced physiotherapist to manage a complex caseload involving acute neurosciences, oncology and neuromuscular conditions. The role involves delivering high-quality physiotherapy to inpatients and outpatients, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure a child-centred approach. The successful candidate will provide specialised assessment, intervention, education and clinical advice to patients, families and colleagues, often independently assessing and managing complex cases. They will contribute to service development, undertake audits, support research activities and supervise junior staff and students. The post involves effective organisation of workload and participation in multidisciplinary decisions, with opportunities for clinical leadership and further skill development.
