The role
Provide on-site interpretation for LEP patients, families, providers, and staff to facilitate access to healthcare services.
Support intercultural mediation to help deliver culturally sensitive patient care.
Requirements include 1+ year of interpreting experience; fluent English and language proficiency; professional-level medical interpreting skills; certification is desirable (CMI, CHI, CCHI, NBCMI) but not required.
This is a contract, on-site role with a flexible schedule that typically aligns with business hours and may include some Saturdays.
Interpreters must adhere to privacy and safety standards for patient information; vaccination and masking requirements may apply per client guidelines.
